Valentine’s Day is another holiday in the calendar whose impact on retail and sales is substantial. According to different sources, the average order value in this period can increase by 11%. Unsurprisingly, among the ‘best-seller’ categories we find jewellery; evenings out; flowers; clothing and confectionery. As previously noted, consumers spend more year-on-year, so Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity for ecommerce retailers to increase sales, raise brand awareness and drive traffic on their websites. Thanks to a big potential response, they are motivated to be more creative and productive to make consumers fall in love with their products.
